Schedule Consultation
At the initial consultation, Dr. Friedland will review the patient's
past medical history, perform an appropriate physical examination and
suggest a therapeutic plan for correction of problems. This takes into
account the necessity for surgery and whether or not the patient is a
good candidate for a particular procedure. Extensive educational materials
(including instructional videos) are provided which discuss pre-operative
and post-operative care and the surgical procedures being considered.
Photographs of patients are taken for their medical records, where they
remain confidential and are never shown to anyone, as the staff and Dr.
Friedland completely respect the privacy of their patients. However, textbook
diagrams and textbook "Before" and "After" photographs
are available for review. Computer simulation is not used since it is
felt that we cannot promise a result which might not be precisely
the result achieved by surgery.
If the patient elects to have surgery, the initial consultation fee charged
will be deducted from the surgical fee. Major credit cards are accepted
for payment, financing plans are available. |
